The Black List — the website run by the folks behind the annual list of the best unproduced screenplays in Hollywood — has recently begun a podcast where selected scripts are performed as table reads.
It’s a very cool podcast. The actors are tremendously talented, the production values are consistently high, and for the first time they’re letting the audience choose the next screenplay to be produced.
One of those that can be voted for is CHROME NOIR, which I wrote.
And just what is CHROME NOIR? Well, I’ll let the logline speak for itself: “Men in hats. Tommy guns. Robots. A film-noir detective story that will have you…riveted.”
Hopefully one day you’ll be able to see it. But in the meantime if you want to hear a film-noir detective story about men in hats and Tommy guns and robots that will have you — ahem — riveted, think about voting for CHROME NOIR.
I mean, when the robots take over, they’re going to want to know which side you were on.
